ORDER

This judgement is pronounced in the open court on seperate sheets of paper today. The complaint is allowed. The complainant is held entitled for refund of Rs.1,17,313/- being the maturity value of four FDR's with interest at 14% p.a. from 1-8-2000 till realisation. In addition they are held entitled for Rs.5,000/- as compensation towards hardship and mental agony caused by deficiency in service rendered by the o.p's. Further they are held entitled for a sum of Rs.1,150/- towards costs of prosecuting the complaint and advertisement charges. The opposite parties are directed to pay to the complainant Rs.1,17,313/- with interest at 14% p.a. from 1-8-2000 till realisation besides Rs.5,000/- as compensation of Rs.1,150/- being the cost of this proceedings. This order to be complied within 2 months from the date of the receipt of the copy of this judgement and order, apart from bearing their own costs. Send the certified copies of this judgement and order to bothsides parties under C.O.P.
