 The complainant as well as counsel for the OP submits that the matter was settled between the parties in the pre-sittings of Lok Adalat wherein it was agreed that the OP shall pay a sum of Rs. 4,36,279/- to the complainant in full and final settlement of her complaint case which is pending before this Commission.

        It is further stated that nothing was executed in writing in the pre-sittings of the Lok Adalat the parties had agreed for settlement orally.

        It is stated that in terms of settlement the OP has given a Demand Draft of Rs. 4,36,279/- to the complainant which includes interest also. The demand draft is handed over to complainant in the Commission. Photocopy of the draft is placed on record.

        The complainant has filed her identity proof also i.e. Pan Card and I. Card issued by Election Commission of India.

                Complainant states that since the matter has been amicably settled between the parties she does not want to pursue the present complaint.

        In view of the above statement of parties, the complaint stands dismissed as withdrawn.

        File be consigned to record room.
