2.     `1,000/- awarded by the District Forum towards costs. 

3.    `10,82,463/- with interest @ 9.5% per annum from 1.4.2001 till payment and a sum of`25,000/- towards compensation besides`1,000/- towards costs.  `25,000/- granted by the District Forum was rejected and the complainant was held entitled to interest @ 9% per annum on`2,37,756/- that was already debited to the account of the complainant. 

4.     `3,04,000/-. `2,35,756/- was debited towards the interest to the account of the complainant and interest @ 9% per annum from 1.4.2001 till the date of payment was calculated as`1,41,244/- a total of which comes to`3,79,000/- and a sum of`25,000/- deposited before this Commission and`50,000/- deposited on 1.11.2007 was deducted therefrom, reducing the amount payable by the opposite parties to`3,04,000/-. `1,45,660/- and when the interest is added to the principal of`2,37,756/-, the total amount arrived at is`3,83,416/- and a sum of`3,79,000/- deposited by the opposite parties was deducted therefrom and thereby claimed balance amount of`4,416/-.
