Case is called out.

Sh. S.P. Singh, learned counsel for the appellant and Sh. Pradeep Bartwal, learned counsel for respondent No. 1, are present.  None is present on behalf of respondent No. 2, although service of notice upon respondent No. 2 has already been held to be sufficient vide order dated 16.05.2023.

Learned counsel for the appellant states that in the light of order dated 21.09.2023, cheque No. 471156 dated 27.09.2023 for Rs. 3,50,651/- issued by Axis Bank Ltd., Dehradun in favour of Sh. Ranbir Singh, has been handed over to learned counsel for respondent No. 1 / complainant, which has been received by him.

Learned counsel for respondent No. 1 / complainant states that he has received the aforesaid cheque, in the light of settlement made before the Mediation Cell for compromising the case for sum of Rs. 3,50,651/-.  He further states that the compromise has been complied with by the appellant and the aforesaid amount has been received by him.

Accordingly, the appeal is disposed of.

The amount deposited by the appellant with this Commission, be released in its favour.
