ORDER:
Today the case was fixed for filing reply on behalf of opposite parties Nos.1 & 2.
Shri Rakesh Dabaas,, counsel for opposite parties Nos.1 & 2 had made a statement that “I being the authorized representative of M/s. Reliance General Insurance company Limited, am ready to settle the present matter for total amount of rs.51,922/- in full and final settlement towards the claim of the complainant. A period of 60 days may be given to make the payment of said amount by the insurance company.
Shri Sonu Kataria, counsel for the complainant has made a statement that “I have heard the statement of counsel for insurance company. Offer acceptable to me for and on behalf of the complainant so as to settle the matter for rs.51,922/- in full and final settlement towards the claim of the complainant in the present matter. Complaint may kindly be disposed off accordingly.
On the basis of the statement of the counsel for the parties, the Commission is of the opinion that the complaint is disposed off with the direction to opposite parties Nos. 1 & 2 to pay Rs.51,922/- to the complainant as full and final payment within 45 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order. Copy of this order be sent to the parties concerned free of costs. File be consigned to the record room.
