The case of the complainant is as follows:

This complaint has been preferred by the complainant against the opposite parties alleging deficiency in service and unfair trade practice in connection with the dispute regarding a telephone connection and internet broad band connection.

2.At the very out set the opposite parties in their version raised the question of maintainability of this complaint in view of the much celebrated decision rendered by the Hon'ble Appex Court in General Manager, Telecom Vs. M. Krishnan. AIR 2010 SC 90

3. The Hon'ble Supreme Court Held that Consumer Fora have no jurisdiction to entertain complaints in connection with the disputes arising between consumers and telephone service providers and categorically stated that Section 7B of the Telegraph Act would come into play.

4. In view of the above which is the standing law we are of the view that this complaint is not maintainable in this forum. The complainant is directed to get back the complaint and related documents for him to approach the appropriate authority if so advised. The proceedings in this complaint stands closed with the above observation.
