AWARD

1.   Vide his separate statement recorded on 30.11.2023, Sh.Charan Singh Saini, Director of M/s Preet Land Promoters & Developers Private Ltd. OP No.1 has stated that the matter has been settled between the complainant and OP No.1 and as per settlement, he (Sh.Charan Singh Saini, Director of OP No.1-M/s Preet Land Promoters & Developers Private Ltd.) shall pay a lumpsum amount of Rs.1,26,00,000/- to the complainant within a period of four weeks from 30.11.2023 in full and final settlement of the present matter, failing which he shall be liable to pay the aforesaid amount alongwith interest @ 9% p.a. from 30.11.2023. It has been further stated by Sh.Charan Singh Saini that he, Director of OP No.1, shall take the entire responsibility for making the aforesaid payment/compliance on behalf of all the OPs. Vide his separate statement recorded on 30.11.2023, Sh.Malkit Singh Gill, Complainant has admitted the aforesaid statement of Sh.Charan Singh Saini, Director of M/s Preet Land Promoters & Developers Private Ltd. OP No.1 and prayed that the complaint be disposed of in terms of aforesaid settlement in National Lok Adalat.

2.   In view of the statements made by Sh.Charan Singh Saini, Director of M/s Preet Land Promoters & Developers Private Ltd. OP No.1 as well as Sh.Malkit Singh, Complainant and in terms of the settlement, the complaint stands disposed of by passing the following order:-

     “Sh.Charan Singh Saini, Director of M/s Preet Land   Promoters & Developers Private Ltd. OP No.1 shall pay a     lumpsum amount of Rs.1,26,00,000/- to the complainant   within a period of four weeks from 30.11.2023, failing     which he shall be liable to pay the aforesaid amount      alongwith interest @ 9% p.a. from 30.11.2023 till the     payment is made”

3.   The award is accordingly passed.

4.   Certified copies of this order be sent to the parties free of cost. The file be consigned.
