ORDER

 

 

 

  1. Counsel representing the complainant has apprised the State Commission that the complaint filed by the complainant has since been disposed of by directing the opposite parties as under:

“(i) The Ops No.1 & 2 are directed to repair the defects in the AC and replace the speedo meter of the car in question;

(ii) The Ops No.1 & 2 are also directed to pay an amount of Rs.10,000/- to the complainant on account of mental agony and harassment; and

(iii) The Ops No.1 and 2 are also directed to comply with the order within a period of 45 days from the date of communication of copy of this order failing which, the complainants shall be at liberty to approach the Commission for initiation of proceedings under Section 71/72 of CP Act, against Ops No.1 and 2.”

 

  1. In view of the above, the present miscellaneous application filed by the complainant has been rendered infructuous and accordingly disposed of.
  2. However, the complainant shall be at liberty to take appropriate proceedings against the order dated 24.09.2024, if so advised.
  3. Application(s) pending, if any, stand disposed of in terms of the aforesaid order.
  4. A copy of this order be provided to all the parties free of cost as mandated by the law. The order be uploaded forthwith on the website of the Commission for the perusal of the parties.
  5. File be consigned to record room along with a copy of this order.
