The Consumer case.TCA-13/2001-2002
The case was heard on 12th September 2005 in the chamber of D.C-Cum- President, CDRF, Tawang. Both the member were present. Heard both the parties at length about their respective versions. The District forum has arrived at the decision that the respondent has failed to prove that he sold his commodities (medicines) to the complainant consumer at bonifide rates, and thus had charged the rates exceeding MRF causing the consumer a loss of Rs 17.63.
Therefore the respondent M/S P. Wangchuk Medical store (Tawang Pharmacy) Old Market Tawang was directed to compensate the complainant by returning the excess amount charged by him. Moreover, the respondent was also directed to pay an amount of Rs. 200/- to the complaint being cost of litigation.
