          under policy Dt. 10.9.1996 effective from 10.9.1996 to 9.12.1996..

          she had insured the boat with them for Rs. 6,50,000/- and that there was cyclone on 6.11.1996, however it denied that the boat was sunk and lost. 

 

         

             to enquire into the matter        which revealed that the claim of the complainant was bogus.

We observed during our interrogation with the crew members that their statements 

 

The insured had submitted a cancellation of registration, but not Marine Casualty Report.

 

 

The certificate of registry which was cancelled after the reported casualty  

 

The condition of the vessel     

 

Based on our enquiry/investigation into the sinking of vessel MFV.      

 

Conclusion:  

 

 

We do not intend to reiterate that port officer as well as police after due enquiry submitted their reports   

 

We may mention herein for the incident happened on 6.11.1996   The insurance company for the reasons best known        

 

sought for clarification on these questions.
