Ved Kumari Khullar filed a consumer case on 22 Sep 2017 against M/s Omaxe Chandigarh Extension Developers Private Ltd. in the StateCommission Consumer Court. The case no is CC/382/2017 and the judgment uploaded on 29 Dec 2017.

Counsel for Opposite Parties No.1 & 2 on getting instructions from Sh.Puneet Popli, Senior Manager of Opposite Parties No.1 & 2, who is present in person in Court, states that Opposite Parties No.1 & 2 shall be paying interest @8% p.a. (simple) on the deposited amount of Rs.27,74,184/- for the delay period in offering possession i.e. from 07.02.2014 till 20.07.2017 + 15 days, which comes to Rs.7.50 lacs approximately. The offer made is acceptable to the Counsel for the complainants. The amount which was payable by the complainants i.e. Rs.3,98,397/- shall be deducted from the payable amount of Rs.7.50 Lacs. In this manner, the balance amount i.e. Rs.3,51,603/- shall be paid by Opposite Parties No.1 & 2 to the complainants in two equated installments payable by way of cheques by 05.11.2017 & 05.12.2017.
In view of above, this complaint stands disposed of.
We make it very clear that if the commitment made is not honoured then the order passed will become executable decree and liberty shall remain with the complainants to file Execution Application, if need be
