Saviti d/o Sh.Prem Singh, Room No.40, Sarojini Hostel, Panjab University, Chandigarh.                                                                                                                     –               Complainant.

                                                Versus

M/s New Mittal Crockery Stores, SCF No.28, Sector 15-C, Chandigarh.

                                                                                                            –            Opposite Party

 Present:            Complainant in person.

Sh.Navneet Mittal, Proprietor of OP.

                       

Dated, the 20th day of August, 2010.

                         ORDER

1.                     Reply on behalf of OP has been filed alongwith evidence by way of affidavit of Navneet Mittal, Proprietor of New Mittal Crockery Store. Copy given.

2.                     This case has been taken up today in the Lok Adalat. Efforts were made to settle the matter, which stood fructified and the parties have settled the dispute. Statement given by them is reproduced as under:-

“Statement of Sh.Navneet Mittal s/o Sh.Suresh Mittal, Proprietor of OP New Mittal Crockery Store.

 

The matter has been settled between the parties. As per settlement, a sum of Rs.2100/- in cash towards costs of the Cooler has been paid to the complainant today in the Court. The complainant has agreed to return the cooler in question with box today itself by evening.

 

Statement of Ms.Saviti d/o Sh.Prem Singh, Complainant in person.

 

I accept the above statement given by Sh.Navneet Mittal, Proprietor of OP. I have receiveid Rs.2100/- in cash from OP. The cooler in question with box will be returned to the OP at their shop(SCF No.28, Sector 15-C, Chandigarh) today i.e. 20.8.2010 by evening.”

 

3.                     In view of the above statements, the complaint stands disposed of. The complainant would return the cooler in question with box to the OP at their shop (SCF No.28, Sector 15-C, Chandigarh) today i.e. 20.8.2010 by evening. 

4.                     Copies of this order free of cost be supplied to the parties. The file be consigned.
