Sh.Ashok Kumar, Regional Manager, Division Office-2 on behalf of OPs No.1 & 2 along with Counsel Sh.Raman Kumar Sharma, Advocate.

 

Statement of Sh.Ashok Kumar, Regional Manager, Division Office-2 on behalf of OP No.1 & 2 along with Counsel Sh.R.K.Sharma, Advocate recorded that Insurance Company, OPs No.1 & 2 are ready to compromise the present complaint for Rs.2,12,244/- as per the loss assessed by Surveyor & Loss Assessor, namely Manoj Mittal vide his report dated 3.7.2019 as Ex.O-1 on the record as full & final settlement of the present complaint and claim of the complainant. The payment shall be made to the complainant within 30 days from the date of receipt of copy of order. Compromise award may be passed accordingly.

 

Further, Statement of Sh.Jai Pal Singh, Complainant along with Counsel Sh.Vikas Kumar Gupta, Advocate recorded that he has heard the statement of Official of OPs and hereby accept Rs.2,12,244/- as full and final settlement of the present complaint and claim of the complainant. Nothing shall remain due on the receipt of compromised amount. Compromise award may be passed accordingly.

 

In view of statement suffered by Sh.Ashok Kumar, Regional Manager, Division Office-2 on behalf of OP No.1 & 2 along with Counsel as well as the Complainant along with his Counsel and the fact that the good sense has prevailed upon the parties and they have settled the matter amicably, the award is passed with the directions to the OPs No.1 & 2 to pay the aforesaid amount of Rs.2,12,244/- to the complainant within 30 days from the date of receipt of copy of order. The present complaint is accordingly disposed of. Copy of the award be supplied to the parties, free of costs, as per rules. File be consigned to the record room.
