DISTRICT CONSUMER DISPUTES REDRESSAL FORUM, JHARSUGUDA

                                       

CONSUMER  COMPLAINT  CASE NO. 57 OF 2015

 

 

12.12.2015:-                            The case record is put up today as it was fixed for the 3^rd National Lok Adalat.  The complainant is present in person so also the O.Ps.are present along with his representative.  Heard from both the parties in length.  The complainant reflected his harassment and mental agony due to replacement of Micromax Canvas L mobile and prayed for replacement of said of Micromax Canvas L mobile with compensation on which the O.P is also agreed.

Both the parties, after being discussed, came to the point of conclusion that, the O.P.No.3 shall replace the said Micromax mobile along with compensation of Rs.2,000/- only towards mental agony , harassment including litigation cost.

Hence, we direct the O.P.No.3 to replace the said Micromax mobile  along with pay a sum of Rs.2,000/- ( Rupees two thousand) only  to the complainant  towards mental agony, harassment and cost of litigation, within 15 (fifteen) days from the date of receipt of this order subject to receipt of old/ previous  warranty card from the complainant. 

                                                Accordingly the case is disposed of.

 

Order pronounced in the open court today the 12^th  day of December’ 2015 and copy of this order shall be supplied to the parties as per rule.
