                                                                        Consumer Complaint No.1608 of 2009

 M/s Mochi (The She Shoppe)    Opposite Party(OP)

 

 

Present:           Complainant with his counsel Sh.Rishi Karan Kakkar, Advocate.

Sh.Amit Sukheja, Manager of OP.

                       

Dated, the 29th day of January, 2010.

                        ORDER

1.                     This case has been taken up today in the Lok Adalat. Efforts were made to settle the matter, which stood fructified and the parties have settled the dispute. Statement given by them is reproduced as under:-

“Statement of Sh.Amit Sukheja s/o Late Sh.Arjun Dev Sukheja, Manager of OP.

 

The matter has been settled between the parties. As per settlement, the OP has agreed to replace the shoe in question by 2.2.2010 of the same price, model & make with new one with fresh warrnaty. I have received defective shoe in question from the complainant. The payment of Rs.3000/- as litigation costs and harassment charges has been paid to the complainant in cash.

 

 

Statement of Sh.A.K.Sreen s/o Sh. S.K.Sreen, Complainant in person with counsel Sh.Rishi Karan Kakkar, Advocate for Complainant.

           

I accept the above statement given by Sh.Amit Sukheja, Manager of OP. I have received Rs.3000/- in cash from Sh.Amit Sukheja and the defective shoe in question has been handed over to him. The complaint may be disposed of accordingly.”

 

2.                     In view of the above statement, the complaint stands disposed of. The OP would replace the shsoe in question by 2.2.2010 of the same price, model & make with new one with fresh warranty. 

3.                     Copies of this order free of cost be supplied to the parties. The file be consigned.
