ORDER:
File taken up today on the application filed by the counsel for the complainant for withdrawl the present complaint.
Shri Rakesh Dabaas, counsel for the opposite party has made a statement that “I being the authorized representative of insurance company, am ready to settle the matter for Rs.35,000/- as full and final settlement towards the claim of the complainant in the present matter. A period of 60 days may kindly be granted to make the payment of said settlement amount by the insurance company.
On the other hand, Shri Karam Singh Bhati, counsel for the complainant has made a statement that “I have heard the statement of counsel for opposite party and ready to settle the matter for Rs.35,000/- on behalf of the complainant, as full and final settlement towards the claim of the complainant. Order may be passed accordingly.”
On the basis of the statement of the counsel for the complainant, the Commission is of the opinion that the complaint is disposed off with the direction to opposite party to pay Rs.35,000/- as full and final settlement
within 60 days from the date of this order. There are no order as to costs. Copy of this order be sent to the parties concerned free of cost. File be consigned to the record room.
