ORDER

The complaint is allowed. The o.p. shall pay a sum of Rs.500/- to the complainant together with interest at the rate of 18% p.a. with effect from 27.05.1987 till the date of realisation. He shall further pay a cost of Rs.100/- to the complainant. This order shall be carried out within a period of 45 days of its receipt by the o.p. failing which proceedings for recovery will be initiated against him on an application being made by the complaint in that behalf.
