ORDER

Complaint is allowed. The o.p. shall refund Rs.500/- to the complainant along with interest at the rate of 18% p.a. with effect from 07.07.1990 on which date the complainant has claimed the refund. It shall further pay a sum of Rs.200/- to him towards the cost of these proceedings. This order shall be carried out within a period of 45 days from the date of its receipt by the opposite party failing which proceedings for recovery will be initiated against it on an application being made by the complainant in that behalf.
