ORDER

The complaint is allowed. The o.p. shall pay a sum of Rs.500/- to the complainant together with interest at 18% p.a. with effect from 26th December 1987. He shall further pay a sum of Rs.100/- towards the cost of these proceedings. This order shall be carried out within a period of 45 days from the date of its receipt by the o.p. failing which proceedings for penal action contemplated under the law will be initiated against him on an application being made by the complainant in that behalf.
