ORDER

The complaint is allowed. The o.p. shall pay a sum of Rs.500/- to the complainant together with interest at 18% p.a. with effect from 24.07.1987 as claimed. He shall further pay Rs.100/- towards the cost of the proceedings to the complainant. This order shall be complied with within a period of 45 days from the date of its receipt by the o.p. failing which recovery proceedings shall be iitiated against him on an application being made by the complainant in that behalf.
