View 2027 Cases Against Holidays
Badanta Bhattacharya filed a consumer case on 30 May 2024 against M/S Karma India Holidays in the Darjeeling Consumer Court. The case no is CC/10/2023 and the judgment uploaded on 04 Jun 2024.
An application has been filed by the Complainant under section 35 of the C.P. Act 2019 against the O.P alleging deficiency in service as stated in detail in complaint petition and he prays for relief as stated in detail in the prayer portion of the complaint.
The complainant did not appear before this Commission on 15/03/2024 and again on 18/04/2024 and show cause was issued by this Commission against him and a direction was given to the complainant to file show cause as to why the case shall not be dismissed for default due to non compliance of order of this Commission.
Despite given such a caution, the complainant did not bother to appear before this commission today and he has not filed any answer to the show cause as directed by this Commission.
Consequently, this Commission is not in a position to proceed with this case any further and decided to dismiss the case for default.
A detailed order has been passed today, being Order No.06 dated 30/05/2024 by which the case has been dismissed for default.
Let the said order be treated as part of this final Order.
Accordingly,
It is ordered that in Consumer Complaint, being C.C. No. 10/2023 is dismissed for default. No order as to cost.
Let the free copies be given to parties concerned as per C.P.R, 2020.
