SRI. P.V. JAYARAJAN,  PRESIDENT:

This complaint is filed under section 35 of Consumer Protection Act 2019.

  1. The case of the complainants is with regard to the purity of gold purchased from the opposite party in connection with their daughter’s marriage.  Alleging deficiency in service and unfair trade practice the complainants approached this commission for redressal of their grievances.  The case was admitted on 09.02.2021 and posted to 19.03.2021 for appearance of the opposite parties.  On 19.03.2021 the complainants filed a memo stating that the complainants do not want to pursue the matter and the complainants sought the permission of this commission to withdraw the complaint.  In view of the above memo dated 19.03.2021 this commission permits the complainants to withdraw complaint number 60/2021 filed before this commission by the complainants.
  2. In the result the complaint is disposed off as withdrawn.  No order as to cost.

A copy of this order as per the statutory requirements be forwarded to the parties free of charge and thereafter the file be consigned to the record room.

Dictated to the Confidential Assistant, transcribed by her, corrected by me and pronounced in the Open Court, this the 19th day of March, 2021.
