After the matter was referred to the Mediation Centre, Bangalore as desired by both parties, the Mediation Center has forwarded the memorandum of settlement reached U/S 89 R/W Rules 24 and 25 of the Karnataka Civil Procedure (Mediation) Rules, 2005.

        Counsel representing the complainant has filed a memo for withdrawing the petition subject to liberty to the complainant to reopen the matter, keeping all the conditions open if the accused fails to abide by the agreement entered into before the Mediation Centre.

        In view of the above developments and the memo filed, complaint is closed in view of the settlement reached between the parties with liberty to the complainant (if available under law) to agitate in the event of accused failing to abide by the conditions of the agreement.
