Parties have compromised. Sh.K.S.Minhas, Advocate Counsel for the Opposite Party appeared and got recorded his statement that the matter has been compromised between the parties as per the Memorandum of settlement which is Ex.CX. The Complainant has agreed to receive the amount of Rs.28,000/- as full and final settlement. Thereafter the policy stands cancelled. The Photostat Copy of the Cheque bearing No.209916 dated 17.11.2016 amounting to Rs.28,000/- in favour of Ranvir Singh, Complainant drawn at ICICI Bank is also placed on file which is Ex.CY.

Sh.Arun Kumar Walia, Advocate Counsel for the Complainant appeared and got recorded his statement that he has received a Cheque bearing No.209916 dated 17.11.2016 amounting to Rs.28,000/- in favour of Ranvir Singh, Complainant as full and final settlement. As such, the present complaint may kindly be dismissed as withdrawn being compromised. In view of statement made by Ld. Counsel for the Complainant, the present complaint is dismissed as withdrawn after having been compromised. File be consigned to the record room.
