ORDER:  

                             Today the case was fixed for arguments.

                                    Shri Rakesh Dabaas, counsel for the opposite party has made a statement that “I being the authorized representative of M/s. ICICI Lombard General Insurance Company, am ready to settle the present matter for total amount of Rs.1,50,000/-  as full and final settlement towards the claim of the complainant involved in the present matter.  A period of 60 days may kindly be granted to  make the payment of said settlement amount by the insurance company.

                             Shri Vijaypal Yadav, counsel for the complainant has suffered a statement that “I have heard the statement of counsel for insurance company.  Offer acceptable to me for and on behalf of the complainant so as to settle the matter for Rs.1,50,000/- in full and final settlement towards the claim of the complainant in the present matter. Complaint may kindly be disposed off accordingly.

                             On the basis of the statement of the complainant, the Commission is of the opinion that the complaint is disposed off with the direction to opposite parties to pay an amount of Rs.1,50,000/- as full and final settlement towards the claim of the complainant.  There are no orders as to costs. Compliance of the order be made within 30 days from the date of this order.  Copy of this order be sent to the parties concerned free of costs.  File be consigned to the record room.
