This case has been taken up today in the Lok Adalat. The matter has been settled between the parties. The learned counsel for complainant has accepted the statement dated 17.2.2010 given by Sh.Sandeep Suri, Advocate for OP Bank. It is, therefore, ordered in view of the settlement that OP Bank would reopen the OD limit of Rs.50,000/- on the same terms and conditions as were applicable for a period of one year expiring on 30.11.2010 and would also remove the lien/reverse any amounts debited from the account of the complainant on account of lien imposed back into the account. The OP bank would also waive overdue and late payment charges accrued in personal loan accounts bearing No.LPCHD00008806217 and LPCHD00012414681, which have accrued on account of non encashment of ECS from the OD Saving Account bearing No.004305004230 with effect from 1.12.2009 till 17.3.2010. The complainant would clear the outstanding installment against the said two personal loan accounts on or before 17.3.2010 (subject to reversal of debit made in the OD Account as has been mentioned above) and on expiry of the term of OD Account i.e. 30.11.2010, the parties shall be free to renew the same as per mutual agreement. The case stands disposed of in view of the settlement arrived at between the parties.
