1.         M/s Hot Spot Retails Ltd., Booth No.150, Sector 35-C, Chandigarh, through its Managers.

2.         M/s Nokia India Pvt. Ltd., Redison Complex Commercial Plaza, Mahipal Pur, New Delhi-110037 through its Managing Director/Chairman.

                                                                                                –          Opposite Parties

 Present:          Complainant in person.

OP No.1 ex-parte.

                        ORDER

1.                     This case has been taken up today in the Lok Adalat. Efforts were made to settle the matter, which stood fructified and the parties have settled the dispute. Statement given by them is reproduced as under:-

“Statement of Sh.Shaurya Sharma, Advocate for OP No.2.

 

The matter has been settled between the parties. As per settlement between the parties, a sum of Rs.7000/- (Rs.4800/- towards costs of handset and Rs.2200/- towards ltigiation costs) will be paid to the complainant on or before 13.9.2010. The complainant has agreed to return the handset in question with all accessories to Sh.Shaurya Sharma, Advocate for OP No.2, at the time of recieivng the amount of Rs.7000/-.

 

Statement of Sh.Atul Nehra s/o Sh.B.S.Nehra, Complainant in person.

 

I accept the above statement given by counsel for OP No.2. The complaint may be disposed of accordingly”

 

2.                     In view of the above statements, the complaint stands disposed of. The OP No.2 would pay Rs.7000/- (Rs.4800/- towards costs of handset and Rs.2200/- towards litigation costs) to the complainant on or before 13.9.2010. The complainant would return the handset in question with all accessories to Sh.Shaurya Sharma, Advocate for OP No.2, at the time of receiving the amount of Rs.7000/-. 

3.                     Copies of this order free of cost be supplied to the parties. The file be consigned.
