BEFORE THE LOK ADALAT HELD IN DISTRICT FORUM-I, U.T. CHANDIGARH Consumer Complaint No.76 of 2010 Aman Sood s/o Sh.Rakesh Sood r/o H.No.3175, Sector 15-D, Chandigarh. – Complainant. Versus 1. M/s Hillview Infrastructure Pvt. Ltd., through it’s Director, 2048, Sector 15-C, Chandigarh. 2. M/s Hillview Infrastructure Pvt. Ltd., through it’s Director, SCO 2474, Sector 22-C, Chandigarh. Present: Sh.Anuj Kohli, Advocate for Complainant. Sh.S.K.Mehta, General Manager/Representative of OPs Dated, the 9th day of April, 2010. ORDER The case was taken up before the Lok Adalat. Efforts were made to settle the matter, which stood fructified and the parties have settled the dispute. Statement of both the parties has been recorded separately, in view of which the OPs would send a cheque for an amount of Rs.5000/- per month to the complainant with effect from 1/4/2010 till 31st December 2010 i.e the date by which the OPs would handover the possession of the allotted flat to the complainant. The cheque would be sent to the complainant on the given address on 1st of subsequent month. The complainant can also collect the cheque personally from the office of OP Company in Sector 22-C, Chandigarh. Futher, in case the possession of the flat is not delivered by December 2010, then the complainant would be entitled to interest @ 18% per annum with effect from January 2011 on the total amount deposited by him with the OPs, till the date of possession. Further, if the complainant chooses the alternative flat in three blocks which would be ready by September 2010 for possession, however, subject to availability of the same, then the amounts as stated above would be paid to the complainant upto the date of possession. The complaint stands disposed of in terms of aforesaid settlement. Copies of this order free of cost be supplied to the parties. The file be consigned.
