Efforts were made to settle the matter, which stood fructified and the parties have settled the dispute. Statement given by them is reproduced as under:- “Statement of Sh.Alok Bhatara, Advocate for OP No.3. The matter has been settled between the parties. As per settlement, the OP No.3 will refund the invoice amount to the complainant i..e Rs.5598/- by way of cheque No.139869, dated 20.3.2010 drawn on PNB, by tomorrow i.e. 10.4.2010. Statement of Sh.Kanwaljit Singh Malhotra s/o late Sh.Harbans Singh Malhotra, Complainant in person. I accept the above statement given by Sh.Alok Bhatara, Advocate for OP No.3. I will handover the old mobile handset in question with accessories to Sh.Alok Bhatra, Advocate for OP No.3 at his office at House No.1111, Sector 36-C, Chandigarh at the time of receiving the invoice amount.” 2. In view of the above statement, the complaint stands disposed of. The OP No.3 would refund the invoice amount to the complainant i..e Rs.5598/- by way of cheque No.139869, dated 20.3.2010 drawn on PNB, by tomorrow i.e. 10.4.2010.
