File taken up before National Lok Adalat. On 13.08.2024, Sh.Ajit Singh, Proprietor of Opposite Parties has come present in person and made a following statement before this Commission:-

          “Stated that I am ready to replace the battery in question of the complainant with new one within one week from today, subject to the delivery of the old battery. I have also paid Rs.1000/- to counsel for the complainant as compensation.”

On the other hand, ld. counsel for the complainant has made a following statement:-

          “Stated that I have heard the statement of proprietor of Opposite Party and agree with the same and also received Rs.1000/- from him as compensation. In view of the compromise effected between the parties, I withdraw the present complaint on behalf of the complainant and the same may kindly be dismissed as withdrawn being compromised.” 

          In view of the statement made by the complainant, the present complaint stands dismissed as withdrawn being compromised. Copy of the order be supplied to the parties free of costs. File be consigned to record room.
