CONSUMER COMPLAINT NO.112  OF  2022

Sh.Pawan Kumar, Advocate for Opposite Party(OP).

ORDER

1.   At this stage, parties have been asked by this Commission for the settlement of the dispute amicably for which they are ready. Vide his separate statement, Sh.Pawan Kumar, Counsel for OP has stated that the matter has been settled between the parties and as per settlement, the OPs shall pay a lumpsum amount of Rs.2,44,967/- to the complainant within a period of 15 days from today(13.12.2023) in full and final settlement of the present matter, failing which the OP shall be liable to pay the aforesaid amount alongwith interest @ 9% p.a. from the date of filing of present consumer complaint. Vide his separate statement, Sh.Bhavya Gupta, Special Power of Attorney Holder of M/s Goodwill Agencies-Complainant, has admitted the aforesaid statement made by counsel for OP and prayed that the complaint be disposed of in terms of aforesaid settlement.

2.   In view of the statements made by the parties and in terms of the settlement, the complaint stands disposed of by passing the following order:-

1. OP shall pay a lumpsum amount of Rs.2,44,967/- to the complainant within a period of 15 days from today(13.12.2023).
2. In case OP fails to pay the aforesaid amount within the stipulated period, then OP shall be liable to pay the same alongwith interest @ 9% p.a. from the date of filing of present consumer complaint i.e. 24.01.2022 till the payment is made.

3.   The complaint is disposed of accordingly.

4.   Certified copies of this order be sent to the parties free of cost. The file be consigned.
