ORDER:
File taken up today on the application filed by the complainant
for summoning of file and recording compromise statement.
Shri Bharat Garg, counsel for the opposite party has made a
statement that “I being the authorized representative of Insurance company, am ready to settle the matter for Rs.43,600/- as full and final settlement towards the claim of the complainant in the present matter. A copy of 60 days , may kindly be granted to make the payment of said settlement amount by the insurance company.
On the other hand, Shri Pawan Gupta, counsel for the complainant has made a statement that “ I have heard the statement of counsel for opposite party and ready to settle the matter for Rs.43,600/- on behalf of the complainant, a sfull and final settlement towards the claim of the complainant. Order may be passed accordingly.
On the basis of the statement of both the parties, the Commission is of the opinion that the complaint is disposed off with the direction to opposite party to pay Rs.43,600/- as full and final settlement towards the claim of the complainant within 30 days from the date of this order. There are no order as to costs. Copy of this order be sent to the parties concerned free of costs. File be consigned to the record room.
