ORDER

This order is pronounced in the open court on seperate sheets of paper today. 1. Complaint is partly allowed. O.P's are directed to repair/replace the damaged components of EPABX at their cost and declare the EPABX defect free. 2. The O.P's are further directed to check the cables set it right and obtain a letter from the head of complainant institution that all the extensions are functioning. 3. The O.P's to file the compliance within 3 months from the date of receipt of this order, failing which the complainants shall be entitled to compensation of Rs.3,05,000/- being the cost of EPABX as can be made out from O.P.'s letter dt. 13-7-2000. On payment o>P is entitled to take back EPABX. 4. If O.P. fails to repair the EPBX or fails to repay Rs.3,05,000/- the complaitn would be entitled to receive interest at the rate of 9% p.a. from the expiry of 3 months period. 5. The O.P's to pay damages of Rs.5,000/- to the complainants. 6. No order as to costs. Send certified copies of this judgement and order to O.P's by RPAD and to the complaiannt under C.O.P.
