Consumer Complaint No.13 of 2012

ORDER

 

 

            A compromise has been arrived at between the parties with the efforts of Lok Adalat.

            Sh.Varun Sharma-Counsel for OP No.1. has made the following statement, recorded separately:-

“The OP No.1 offers to pay a sum of Rs.35,000/- in full and final settlement of the dispute. The said amount shall be paid within 45 days from today”

            Sh.Amit Rajan-Counsel for complainant has made the following statement, recorded separately:-

“I accept the offer made by counsel for OP No.1. The case may be disposed of accordingly”

 

            In view of the compromise arrived at between the parties, it is ordered that OP No.1 shall pay a sum of Rs.35,000/- to the complainant in full & final settlement of the dispute within 45 days from today, failing which the OP No.1 shall pay the above said amount along with interest @18% p.a. from today i.e. 13.07.2012 till the payment is made. The parties shall be bound by the statement made before this Forum.

            Hence, the complaint is disposed of accordingly.

            Certified copy of this order be communicated to the parties free of cost. After compliance file be consigned.
