ORDER

Judgment/Order:

Shri R.C Chaturvedi, complainant procured a refrigerator from M/s Bhuneswar Singh on 21/08/94 which stopped functioning after 2 months. Though there was warranty cover, the opp. party charged Rs.1500 for rectification of the defect. Besides, he had to spent to and fro carrying charges from his home to the dealer for several times. 

Both the parties present.

After hearing both the parties, the opp. party is directed to refund Rs. 1500 being the reparing charges taken from the complainant and also to pay Rs.500 as compensation for the harassment meted to the complainant. The case is disposed.
