ORDER

     In compliance with the notice/order dated 15.05.2020 & 29.05.2020 of the Hon’ble State Commission, U.T. Chandigarh, case taken up through video conferencing due to outbreak of COVID-19 & measures to control it, as per Standard Operating Procedure framed by Hon’ble State Commission.

     Heard. Contents of the complaint also perused alongwith title of the consumer complaint. The complainant is permanent resident of District Mohali, Punjab and office of Opposite Party(OP) is situated at Banglore and Maharashtra. Section 34 of the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 perused.

     Even the paragraph pertaining to the territorial jurisdiction i.e. paragraph No.3 shows that this Forum has territorial as well as pecuniary jurisdiction. How this Commission has the territorial jurisdiction to entertain the consumer complaint pertaining to Mohali, Punjab and Banglore and Maharashtra has not been disclosed. Hence, let this consumer complaint be returned to the complainant with the remarks that it be presented before the proper Commission i.e. District Commission, Mohali or Banglore or Maharashtra or where the cause of action has arisen partly or wholly.

     Certified copy of this order be sent to the complainant free of cost.
