CONSUMER COMPLAINT NO.422  OF  2023

ORDER

1.   At this stage, vide his separate statement, Sh.Brajesh Kumar, Counsel for OP has stated that the matter has been settled between the parties amicably and as per settlement, the OP shall pay an amount of Rs.16,000/- to the complainant within a period of 15 days from today(28.05.2024) in full and final settlement of the present matter, failing which the OP shall be liable to pay the aforesaid amount alongwith interest @ 12% p.a. from the date of filing of present consumer complaint. Vide his separate statement, Sh.Chandra Shekhar, Complainant, has admitted the statement of counsel for OP and prayed that the complaint be disposed of in terms of aforesaid settlement.

2.   In view of the statements of the counsel for OP & complainant and in terms of the settlement, the complaint stands disposed of by passing the following order:-

1. OP shall pay an amount of Rs.16,000/- to the complainant within a period of 15 days from today(28.05.2024) in full and final settlement of the present matter.
2. In case OP fails to pay the aforesaid amount within the stipulated period, then OP shall be liable to pay the same alongwith interest @ 12% p.a. from the date of filing of present consumer complaint i.e. 04.09.2023 till the payment is made.

3.   Certified copies of this order be sent to the parties free of cost. The file be consigned.
