The complainant approached opposite party No.1 with his said grievances,  opposite party No.1 refused to listen,  rather on the other hand misbehaved with the complainant; hence, this complaint, filed on 2.1.2015;  for  a direction to the opposite parties, to pay a sum of Rs.20,000/- for harassment, mental tension and  litigation expenses.

2.                The opposite parties have filed joint reply stating, inter-alia, therein that the complainant concealed the material facts and has rather put forth a grossly misrepresented picture before the learned court. The complainant has blatantly  lied that he approached the opposite party on the same day. In fact he  approached the official of the showroom after a month, alleging empty polish.  He was adamant for the exchange and started making the abnoxious monetary demands towards compensation.   There is no deficiency in service on the part of the  opposite parties. It is prayed that the complaint be dismissed with costs.

The opposite parties have denied the allegations of the complainant. Keeping in view the facts and circumstances of the case, we partly allow the complaint of the complainant and award Rs.1,000/- as lump sum compensation to the complainant against the opposite parties. The opposite parties are directed to pay Rs.1,000/- to the complainant within 30 days from the date of passing of this order.
