Counsel for the applicants submitted that though the respondents has received a sum of Rs. 5 lakh but the Registry has not disbursed the amount of interest accrued on the said amount. The Registry has confirmed that the amount of interest of Rs.1,72,360/- payable to the respondent has also been paid to the appellant DLF along with Rs.10 lakh and the interest accrued thereon. Mr. Narayan states that in view of this factual position, the appellant has no objection to refund the excess amount, which has been received by them. We call upon the appellant to refund the excess amount within two weeks by means of a demand draft. Misc. applications stands disposed of accordingly.
