O R D E R 

NAWAB SINGH J, (ORAL)

 

          First Appeal No.807 of 2016 was decided by this Commission on 03rd October, 2016. The appeal was dismissed. It was ordered that the statutory amount of Rs.4500/- deposited at the time of filing the appeal be refunded to the complainant.

2.      By filing the present miscellaneous application No.04 of 2017, M/s MRF Tyre Private Limited-opposite party No.2 has prayed that since the amount awarded by the District Consumer Disputes Redressal Forum, Rohtak has been paid to Mrs. Mannu-complainant, so, the statutory amount of Rs.4500/- be refunded to the applicant. In support thereof, receipt (Photocopy Annexure-I) issued by Sh. Jasvir Kundu, Advocate, who happens to be husband of the complainant has placed on record.

3.      In view of this, the order dated 03rd October, 2016 is modified to the extent that the amount of Rs.4500/- be refunded to the applicant instead of the complainant against proper receipt and identification in accordance with rules.

4.      Disposed of.
