The learned counsel for the appellants/opp.parties contends that as per the policy conditions the name transfer should be endorsed in the policy within 14 days from the date of transfer in the R.C.

In the instant case as the transfer of ownership was on 1.5.2006 the complainant still had 14 days time which ends on 15.5.2006 However since interest at 12% is already awarded we set aside the compensation of Rs.10,000/-.
