2. `10/- per plant with subsidy of`5/- on each plant to raise them in his fields. `1,25,000/- and sustained a loss of`6 lakh due to deficiency in service.
3. `15,000/- in favour of Bio Technology Centre,Hyderabad. Hyderabad The yield would be normally good and there were no complaints for the past many years that the variety of Banana plants supply by Bio Technology Centre was inferior in quality.

6. The District Forum allowed the complaint on the premise that the second appellant had not advised the respondent to plant `1,25,000/- besides an amount of`20,000/-towards compensation and`5,000/- towards costs.

i) Whether the appellants had supplied defective seeds to the respondent?
ii) Whether the respondent had followed the proper
iii) Whether the respondent obtained low yield ?
iv) To what relief?

Such indiscriminate use of complex fertilizers will lead to poor uptake of major and micro nutrients. Imbalanced presence of major and micro nutrients in the plants hinders the growth of plants both in vegetative and reproductive phase which make the plants unproductive.

Further, water management is also not done as per the recommendations which also lead to poor growth of plants and poor yield of the crop.

13. `10,000/-. The findings of the District Forum are set aside in regard to the award of the amount of`1,25,000/- and the amount of`20,000/- is reduced to`10,000/- and the costs from`5,000/- to`2,000/-.
POINT NO 4: `1,25,000/- and by reducing the amount awarded as compensation from`20,000/- to`10,000 and costs from`5,000/- to`2,000/-In the circumstances of the case there shall be no order as to costs in the appeal.
