The case of Mangalgiri Road,Guntur           

 

Opposite Party No. 1 filed   was its employee. It discharged its duty by forwarding the application of the complainant duly furnishing the particulars available with it.

under A/c. No. AP/2079/964.   Therefore it prayed for dismissal of the complaint with costs.

Undoubtedly, Employees’ Pension Schemes 1997 as well as 1995 provided that a person, who was already a member of the scheme of 1971 and who was under employment as on 16.11.1995 would automatically become a member of   

 

 

 

 

It is an undisputed fact that the complainant was an employee with 2nd

Funds and Miscellaneous Provisions Act, 1952 and the schemes formulated therein are beneficial piece of social welfare legislation aimed at promoting and securing the well being of the employees and the Court will not adopt a narrow interpretation which will have the effect of defeating the very object and purpose of the Act.
