Consumer Complaint No.133 of 2011

ORDER

            A compromise has been arrived at between the parties with the efforts of Lok Adalat.

            Sh.Kailash Chander-Counsel for OP No.1 has made the following statement, recorded separately:-

“A compromise has been arrived at between the parties. The coating of the emulsion has already been provided in the flat in question and the sale deed has been executed in favour of the complainant and towards full & final settlement, the OP No.1 has agreed to pay Rs.33,000/- to the complainant besides waiving of sales tax demand”

 

            Sh.Vikas Malik-Counsel for complainant has accepted the offer and made the following statement, recorded separately:-

“I have heard the above said statement of counsel for OP No.1. I accept the same on behalf of complainant. The case be disposed of accordingly”

 

            In view of the compromise arrived at between the parties, it is ordered that OP No.1 shall pay a sum of Rs.33,000/- to the complainant and waive of sales tax demand within 45 days from today, failing which the OP No.1 shall be liable to pay interest @ 18% p.a. on the amount of Rs.33,000/- from the date of this order till realization, besides waiver of demand of sales tax. The parties shall be bound by the statements made before this Forum.

            Hence, the complaint is disposed of accordingly.

            Certified copy of this order be communicated to the parties free of cost. After compliance file be consigned.
