                       This appeal coming up before us on 28.04.2023 for appropriate orders with regard to the filing of Joint Memo and this Commission made the following Order in open court:

Appellants/ opposite parties present.  No representation for the respondent/ complainant.

 

Today, when the matter is taken up for consideration, it is represented by the Counsel for Appellants/ opposite parties that the matter has been amicably settled between the parties in the Mediation Advisory Centre on 20.04.2023 and also a Joint Memo has been filed by them to that effect. 

 

As per the compromise, the Counsel for appellants / opposite parties has handed over a cheque bearing No.000619 dt.13.04.2023 for a sum of Rs.3,62,250/- drawn in favour of the respondent /complainant towards full and final settlement. The respondent /complainant has acknowledged the same.

 

Hence, recording the Joint Memo, this Appeal is disposed off.  The Joint Memo shall form part of the order.   No costs.

 

The appellants / opposite parties are entitled for the mandatory deposit.  The Registry is directed to discharge the Mandatory Deposit with accrued interest in favour of the appellants / opposite parties.
