This consumer complaint coming up before me on 27.09.2024 for making substantial payment and this Commission made the following Order in open court: 

 

DOCKET ORDER

 

Both present.

  Today, when the matter is taken up for consideration, it is represented by the Counsel for Opposite parties that the matter has been amicably settled between the parties.   Thus, the opposite parties have paid a sum of Rs.60,000/- by way of cheque vide No.01895 dt.17.09.2024 drawn on Union Bank of India and paid the balance amount of Rs.15,000/- by way of cash on 27.09.2024 totally of Rs.75,000/- to the complainant.   A Memo on Compromise Settlement has been filed to that effect.  

Further, the Counsel for complainant sought permission of this Commission to withdraw the Deposit of Rs.67,037/- made by the complainant vide order dt.17.10.2019 made in MP No.265/2019.  The complainant have agreed to accept the offer made by the opposite parties.

Recording the Memo on Compromise Settlement, this Consumer Complaint is disposed off.   The said Memo shall form part of the order.   No costs.

The Registry is directed to discharge the deposit of Rs.67,037/- with accrued interest in favour of the complainant.
