Neither the complainant nor his advocate found present on repeated calls nor also filed any steps to adjourn the case. The complainant failed to perform his obligatory duty to remain present at the time of hearing as required under Rule 4 Sub Rule 8 of the Odisha Consumer Protection Rules, 1987.

            In the result we dismissed the complaint for default of appearance.
