Sh. Moin Hyder, learned counsel for the appellant has appeared through video conferencing.

Learned counsel for the appellant has earlier moved an application dated 20.04.2024 (Paper Nos. 74 to 77) along with the affidavit and settlement agreement, wherein prayer has been made for withdrawal of the appeal in terms of Settlement Agreement dated 28.11.2023 executed between the parties.  The application is supported by affidavit (Paper Nos. 78 to 79).  The copy of the Settlement Agreement dated 28.11.2023 (Paper Nos. 80 to 83) has been annexed with the application.

As the matter has been settled / compromised between the parties and in view thereof, the appellant has prayed for withdrawal of the appeal, hence the appeal shall stand dismissed, as withdrawn.  The Settlement Agreement dated 28.11.2023 executed between the parties (Paper Nos. 80 to 83) shall form part of the order.  The parties shall bear their own costs.

The amount deposited by the appellant with this Commission, be released in its favour.

File be consigned to the record room along with copy of this order.

A copy of this order be sent to the concerned District Commission for perusal, information and necessary action.
