Sh.Amandeep Singh, Advocate, has filed vakalatnama on behalf of OP No.1. The parties have settled the matter before the Lok Adalat. Statement of Sh.Amandeep Singh, Counsel for OP No.1 has been recorded. Statement of Sh.Pardeep Kumar, Complainant in person has also been recorded, in view of which the complaint is ordered to be disposed of as settled. The parties shall be bound by statements made before the Lok Adalat today and the same shall form a part of this order. If the compliance of the undertaking/statement is not made by OP No.1 within the prescribed period, the settled amount (Rs.9000/-) shall carry interest at the rate of 9% per annum from the date of order till payment is made to the complainant.

Stated that OP No.1 is ready to refund bill/invoice amount of Rs.6000/- (towards the value of the mobile handset in question purchased by the complainant), alongwith Rs.3000/- as compensation, to the complainant within a period of 30 days from today, towards full and final settlement of this complaint.

I have heard the statement made by Sh.Amandeep Singh, Counsel for OP No.1 today. I have no objection to the above settlement. The mobile handset in question is already lying with OP No.2. The accessories of mobile handset in question i.e. charger alongwith original job sheet shall be returned to the OP No.1 at the time of receiving of payment of Rs.6000/- plus Rs.3000/-. This complaint be disposed of accordingly as settled.
