ORDER

     Case taken up today as on previous date, i.e., 11.05.2021, it was not taken up due to situation arising out of corona virus spread & measures to control it. It was adjourned for 19.07.2021 through public notice, copy of which is placed on the file and notice was also placed on the official website of this Commission, notice board & main gate of the premises of this Commission that case shall be taken up on 19.07.2021.

     Case taken up through video conferencing in the light of Covid-19 pandemic situation and as per instructions issued by Hon’ble State Commission, U.T. Chandigarh.

     E-mail received from Sh.Pankaj Mohan Kansal, Counsel for Complainant that OP has made the compliance of the order dated 19.05.2017 passed by this Commission and cheque amounting to Rs.11164.74 given by the OP has been encashed in the bank account of the complainant on 10.03.2021 and hence the complainant wants to withdraw the present execution application. Contents of the e-mail confirmed from the counsel for complainant through virtual hearing. In view of this, the present execution for commission of offence under Section 27 of the Consumer Protection Act, 1986, is dismissed as withdrawn and in result thereof, accused is acquitted of the offence under Section 27 ibid.

     Certified copies of this order be sent to the parties free of cost. The file be consigned  .
